How to register for Kendriya Vidyalaya Class 1 Admissions?

Follow the step-by-step procedure mentioned below to register for KV Class 1 admissions:

First Stage: Registration

First Step: visit the official website of KV Admissions 2021-22:

Second Step: Click on "Click here to register".

Third Step: Read all instructions carefully and click the checkbox that says "I have carefully reviewed all sections and subsections ..." at the end. Then click the "Continue" button.

Fourth Step: on the new registration page, enter all the details like name, date of birth, email id, mobile phone number, Captcha code and click "Register".

Fifth Step: Now enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and the Captcha code.

Sixth Step: the registration data such as the child's name, the login code, the date of birth and the registered mobile number are generated. Keep identification safe. Take a hard copy of the registration details for further reference.

Second Stage: Login and enter the basic information

Step First: Now log in to the official website (or) click "To log in to the portal click here" on the same page.

Step Second: In the new login window, enter the details like login code, date of birth, mobile phone number and captcha code and click "Login".

Step Third: Fill in the basic student information such as gender, category and blood group, then click the "Next" button.

Third Stage: Parental Details

Step First: In the Parental Details section, enter the details of the mother and father, such as name, nationality, country, state, address, PIN code, occupation, etc., and click "Next".

Fourth Stage: Choice of schools

First Stage: now select 3 options for state and schools by clicking "Choose state from school 1, 2 and 3" and "Select school 1, 2 and 3"

Second Stage: Next "Choose service priority category" and click the "Next" button.

Fifth Stage: Upload documents

In this section, upload the documents “Proof of child's date of birth” and “Child's passport size photo” and click on the “Next” button.

Note: Uploaded files / documents must be in ".pdf" and ".jpg" only. The maximum file size must be 256 KB.

Sixth Stage: Declaration

KVS Online Admission Guidelines 2021-22

Before completing the intake form, you should be aware of the new intake guidelines. These guidelines should be followed by both new and existing candidates. The following are the key points mentioned:

  • Admission to Class 1 will be made through an online drawing.
  • The admissions of classes 2 to 8 would be carried out on a priority basis. This means that, in case the requests exceed the number of seats, the lottery system would be followed.
  • Class 9 admissions will be made on the basis of an entrance examination and
  • Admission to Class 11 would be made based on the Class 10 qualifications of the candidates.
  • Admission of new students to classes 10 and 12 is subject to availability.
